Build lean muscle mass and get a whole new body.
When You Want to Build More Muscle, You Need PROGENEX More Muscle.
Building lean muscle mass is a goal for athletes and bodybuilders alike. Interestingly, that “muscle building” activity works in exactly the same manner for everyone—no matter your ultimate goal.
How Muscle Is Created
Did you know that your muscle cells lost their ability to copy their own DNA before you were born? In other words, your muscle fibers are no longer able to produce "daughter cell" copies of themselves. So how do your muscles get bigger and stronger? Two ways:
• Simple enlargement of your existing fibers, driven by hormones, growth factors, nutrition and exercise
• Stimulation of satellite cells. These groups of baby muscle cells are strategically located in the tissue bed immediately outside your existing muscle fibers.
Old-Fashioned Muscle Enlargement is Good; Satellite Cells Are Even Better
Satellite cells lie outside your existing muscle fibers. Multiple weight training sessions weekly (or trauma) activates these cells, causing them to divide to create more specialized muscle cells. Over time, these cells have one of two options: go back to an inert, or inactive state, or commit to become a new, fully functioning muscle fiber.
When satellite cells commit to becoming new muscle fiber, you’ve ADDED to your existing foundation of muscle fibers, not just made the fibers you have larger. Doing both: adding to your existing muscle fibers AND growing your existing fibers—are what will give you significant gains in muscle size and strength.
Don’t All Whey Proteins Work the Same Way?
In a word, no. Our products feature whey protein-derived growth factors, which are concentrated up to several hundred fold times the levels found in regular whey proteins. The whey growth factors such as those found in PROGENEX More Muscle have been shown to significantly enhance muscle growth and strength responses.
Don’t get us wrong, whey protein is a great source of nutrition for athletes looking for a high quality source of protein. However, PROGENEX More Muscle is NOT simply a whey protein. It is a highly refined whey protein derivative—mined from a patented process that extracts the tiniest protein fractions from millions of gallons of non-fat milk. It is this rare ingredient, Promyosin,™ that powers More Muscle, and its limited supply is why we only offer More Muscle direct to you. It simply cannot be mass-produced.
How Does PROGENEX More Muscle Work?
Most protein supplements are made of either milk-based whey proteins that are highly concentrated or hydrolyzed, or a blended combination of milk proteins such as whey and casein isolates, concentrates or hydrolysates. Any of these protein products work well for improving protein balance, but all of them fall short when it comes to driving new muscle growth at the cellular level.
Promyosin™ HD, the active ingredient in PROGENEX More Muscle, is several hundred times more potent than any commercially available whey protein.
Promyosin acts as a chemical messenger that directly affects muscle growth by stimulating the satellite muscle cells that lie outside of your mature muscle fibers. This is quite exciting because it offers you many new possibilities. That’s because research in exercise science has shown that approximately 75-80% of the increases in muscle size that can be achieved through weight training are the result of these satellite muscle cells being stimulated to become active muscle fibers. By stimulating a higher proportion of these satellite cells, you are, in conjunction with your training, able to build more new muscle.
Why the Added BCAAs?
Branched chain amino acids are essential to muscle integration following training. With PROGENEX More Muscle, you get 20% more of these—including leucine—than in any whey protein isolate on the market. This is important, because the leucine content of whole proteins is directly related to how much protein your body will integrate into muscle. What’s more, you cannot achieve this effect simply by adding extra leucine—it must be carefully calibrated to achieve this effect.
When combined with Promyosin, which stimulates your satellite muscle cells, your muscles receive both the stimulation and the protein “food” that encourages them to become fully functioning mature muscle fibers.
In other words, you build more muscle mass. And then some.

Because of the imbalance in my physiology I am subjected to a much greater load being applied to one side of my body than the other. Much of my endurance and strength training is tempered by the necessity to preserve and protect the delicate balance of potentially overloading my “strong side.”
