For our second PROGENEXperiment we whipped up a yummy mixture of PROGENEX Tropical Vanilla Recovery, blackberries, blueberries, and the staple of any flip, egg. The egg actually fluffs the drink and makes it a little thicker. Be careful to only get the egg white when you're making your own Black & Blue Flip! You can get all of our PROGENEXperiment recipes at our Recipe Binder on Facebook.

The Progenex crew is heading off to Northern California to spend the weekend at the NorCal Tough Mudder. Nearly 7,000 fit-and-filthy competitors will journey through a mountain obstacle course, seven-miles long, with an estimated completion time of two-hours, 30 minutes and elevation levels between 6,600 and 8,495 feet. This mountain course contains 19 military style obstacles consisting of a battle cry run, a mud belly crawl, a death march up a ski run, long tunnel crawls, a claw over three-giant spools, lateral pressure hoses tossing the contestants like a pinball, a slippery cliffhanger, a 100 foot glacier scale, a swamp stomp, log jumping, cargo net-bus surfing, a team spirit Berlin Wall, greased hill sliding into muddy waters, a swinging rope bridge, a lumberjack log drag up and down a ski slope, something that resembles a spider web called “Devil’s Beard,” an 8 foot climbing fence with the demands of crossing over and back four-times, a “Mystery Obstacle, and a fire walk. Yes. I said fire walk!

Fortunately for these athletes, the Progenex Recovery Tent will be in full-swing for anyone tough enough to do it again.
