I began using Progenex after a friend recommended it for a post workout supplement to help speed up recovery. I have always been a firm believer in solid nutrition especially when it comes to performance and when I'm hitting 2-3 workouts a day (sometimes 5 in competition) I am in need if something quick and easy. I feel stronger, more energized, and recovered much quicker with Progenex than anything else I've used in the past (which is A LOT). In the past I have had a lot of supplements that cause gut irritation, but the post recovery does not give me any problems at all. Did I mention it tastes great!
Training Regimen:
I follow a strict 3 days on 1 day off CrossFit style programming. I feel that works best for me. Every once in a while when I'm really heated up I'll do 2 days straight before I rest. I generally listen to my body to gauge my workouts and intensities. A typical training day consists of some combination of a strength lift, a skill movement, CrossFit WOD, conditioning and some gymnastics stuff to help me get better at moving my own body without added resistance. Once a week I will also train with an elevation mask to train in an oxygen restricted environment.
Nutrition and diet:
I am the first person to tell you that food is the most important part of living a healthy and active lifestyle. When you're trying to increase performance, it is paramount to have a solid eating regimen. I am a HUGE advocate of the Paleo diet (even though its not a diet , its a lifestyle) and have felt and performed my best eating like a caveman! My best results have come from the Zone Diet block system with Paleo foods and Progenex used within it.
