My PROGENEX Experience:
I come from an extremely varied athletic background. I had alot of supplements thrown at me and “pimped” through coaches, friends, andlocal muscle store owners. From standard whey blends to crazy protein blendswith super secret proprietary blends promising me abs of Rambo and the strengthof Hercules. All of which may have provided some benefit beyond just my diet, yet the digestive problems, prices, and weight fluctuations seemed to outweighwhatever benefit if any. The amount of sugars and synthetic chemicals I ingestedwhile using all these different supplements seemed to be worth it though due tothe fact I was unaware of any alternative to the muscle magazine adsupplements. Thus enter PROGENEX. A friend of a friend recommended I checkout the site after hearing me question aloud whether the “recovery” supplementI was using really was working or not. Having nothing to lose I ordered the ProPack. The first thing I noticed was theingredients, the list was short and there were not any words I had no idea themeaning of. Next, Within a week of starting PROGENEX I could already feel adifference in my recovery. I actually felt like I had “some in the tank “ aftera day or two of WODs. Soon there after PRs seemed to come daily, WOD timesstarted dropping and my body composition began to morph, I gained weight butwas getting leaner. Within a couplemonths of using PROGENEX I couldn’t stop telling people about it and mygains were still coming, even today. If it was not for PROGENEX I would notbe able to maintain my schedule. Simply put, from my experience PROGENEXfollows through on what it claims and frankly by doing so makes every otherprotein and recovery product obsolete.
How I use PROGENEX:
I take 2 scoops of Recovery with 2 scoops of More Muscle post metcon/WOD sometimes withmilk pending on how drained I feel. I take 2 scoops of More Muscle and 1 scoop of Recovery post strength WODs with water, I also consume 1 More Muscle shake withcoconut milk before bed. I do not add these into my daily zone blocks.
Typical TrainingWeek:
3 on 1 off. I usually hit two workouts a day. I like to keepmy strength days and metcon days separate. Ill usually throw one strength dayamong 2 days of metcons.
Example:
Monday- A.M. Metcon 10-20 mins P.M. Metcon sub 10 min
Tuesday- A.M. singlemodality oly lift P.M. single modality weighted gymnastic or powerlift (Noheart rate spiking on strength days)
Wednesday- A.M. Metcon task priority P.M. Metcon timepriority.
Thursday- Rest and a lot of K-Star/MWod work.
Sometimes my days get a little messed up due to gettingkicked out of the school gym for dropping weight frequently.
Nutrition:
I'm strict zone 6 days a week and do not weigh/measure my food1 day a week.
